What are remote scams, and how you can protect yourself & your loved ones from falling for them?
Remote scams are a type of fraud where scammers trick individuals into granting them access to their computers or devices. These scammers often pose as tech support representatives from reputable companies, claiming there are issues with your device that need immediate attention. Once they gain access, they can steal personal information, install malware, or demand payment for unnecessary services.
To protect yourself from remote scams, follow these tips:
Be Sceptical of Unsolicited Calls: Legitimate tech support companies will not call you out of the blue. If you receive an unexpected call from someone claiming to be from tech support, hang up and contact the company directly using their official contact information.
Do Not Grant Access: Never give remote access to your computer or device to someone you do not know and trust. Scammers can use remote access to steal personal information, install harmful software, or make unauthorised changes.
Verify the Caller: If you are unsure about the legitimacy of a call, ask for the caller’s name, company, and a callback number. Then, look up the company’s official contact information and call them directly to verify the request.
Keep Software Updated: Ensure your computer’s operating system, antivirus software, and other applications are up to date. Regular updates can help protect against malware and other security threats.
Use Strong Passwords: Protect your accounts with strong, unique passwords. Avoid using the same password across multiple accounts and consider using a password manager to keep track of your credentials.
Educate Yourself and Others: Stay informed about common scam tactics and share this knowledge with friends and family, especially those who may be less familiar with technology.

I was diagnosed with Herpes four years ago. For over two years, I relied on prescribed medications and treatments, but unfortunately, my condition continued to worsen. The flare-ups became more frequent, the discomfort increased, and even simple daily tasks became difficult to manage.Last year, out of desperation and hope, I decided to try a herbal treatment program from NaturePath Herbal Clinic. Honestly, I was skeptical at first, but within a few months of starting the program, I felt some changes. My discomfort eased, my energy levels improved, and I felt I had more control over my daily life again. It’s been a meaningful experience for me, and I feel more like myself than I have in years. This is simply my personal story. You can visit their website at http://www.naturepathherbalclinic.com

I met an individual on an international dating app, Bumpy. After talking for a few months, the individual encouraged me to start investing on crypto asset trading platform, btc01.org. I started trading and believed I was making profit until I tried to withdraw some of my money, I was asked to pay extra for tax which I did and they kept asking then I knew I have been scammed, I had to contact HACKWEST AT WRITEME DOT COM who then helped to recover the money, the total money I invest is $198,000 in bitcoin. The website is no longer operational. If anyone is in a similar issue, you can as well contact HACK WEST. They also fixed my credit report.
