Her career in food began in 1973, when Maggie and her husband Colin settled in the Barossa Valley, with the intention of breeding game birds and growing grapes. Michael graduated from the University of Melbourne Law School in 2005 and now works exclusively as a Wills and Estates lawyer. Prior to establishing Clohesy Legal in 2013 he oversaw the Wills & Estates team at Slater & Gordon. Michael is currently the ‘Succession Law’ lecturer at Australian Catholic University. Pat Irwin enjoyed a long and successful career in financial services – banking, trust and systems consulting – in Canada and the US. When her dad became ill in 1997 and her mom could no longer care for him, there were so few choices that after three months in a nursing home, her dad was dead. The Hon Anika Wells
Minister for Aged Care and Sport
Minister for Aged Care and Sport, The Hon Anika Wells, is the Federal Member for Lilley and lives in Chermside with her husband Finn, daughter Celeste, twins Ossian and Dashiell and their rescue kelpie Don. Prior to entering the Australian Parliament in 2019, Anika graduated from Griffith University and worked as a lawyer for people injured at work or on the road.
Following the election of the Albanese Government in May 2022, Anika was appointed Minister for Aged Care and Minister for Sport.
